A visit to the Rosebank

500 stalls offering clothing, beautiful ceramics, arts and crafts, antiques
and collectibles.
And while you’re
there, a must-see is also the African Crafts Market, an extraordinary and
exotic collection of African arts and craft products, hand-carved from all
over Africa and a selection of African animal skins and horns

Explore the beautiful grounds of the Johannesburg Zoo, with numerous trees,
water features and magical walks around the various animal enclosures
as well as 300 species of mammals, birds and reptiles. If you dare, why
not go on one of their special moonlight tours, allowing you to observe
the habits of nocturnal creatures and taking a peek behind the scenes
At Zoo Lake relax
by hiring a rowing boat on the lake, joining in for a round of tennis
or perhaps try your hand at the bowling club. Or if you would like to
do as little as possible, enjoy a delicious meal at Moyo Restaurant. A
trip to Zoo Lake is definitely worth a visit

Club is quite a favourite amongst sport enthusiasts and after a tiring
day, relax at their clubhouse with one of their affordable drinks. They
have also recently introduced a Croquet green to their amenities
Only a neighbourhood
or two from the buzzing city centre, enjoy a leisurely walk and take in
the breathtaking views of the Melville Koppies Nature Reserve
Visit the world’s
deepest pub or if this is not your cup of tea, go down and and explore
the workings of a gold mine at Gold Reef City. If you’re a bit claustrophobic
perhaps, you could always try your luck at the Gold Reef City Casino or
unleash the child within at Africa’s greatest entertainment Theme

Museum for in-depth information on the history of the people’s revolution
illustrating the rise and fall of apartheid, the oppressive past but also

Soweto – a vibrant township which was often the focus of the apartheid

Peterson memorial museum, recently renovated offering a detailed account
of the events of 1976 and built in memory of those who died in unrest,
